Sensei David Rubens Control & Restraint Seminar, 13 Feb 2000, Ealing DSD

The second of our series of events whereby guest martial artists are invited along to present seminars based upon similar training concepts to ourselves.

This event was hosted by Sensei David Rubens 5th Dan (Yoshinkan Aikido) who presented an extremely interesteing Control & Restraint seminar.

With a strong student turnout from many of our Schools from around the country.

This seminar enabled many of the more 'capable' students to experiment with the techniques and allow them to work alongside our core syllabus. Click for Larger Image

Part of the excitement of these seminars is to work with the Master and to have the opportunity to discuss the effectiveness of each technique (and in some cases find out first hand!)

As part of the run up to the event, Mr Hajioff & Mr Monty discussed, filmed and worked with Sensei Rubens in order to ensure that the techniques taught would fit within a Dynamic Self Defence framework with an emphasis on basic "street practical" techniques.
