DYNAMIC SELF DEFENCE ACADEMY - HENDON
(just off Vivian Avenue, behind Tesco Express – 2 min walk from Hendon Central)
Directions from Hendon Central Tube Station (Northern Line):
Exit the station, cross over the road into Vivian Avenue (ie the road with Natwest bank on the left, Dominos pizza on the right).
Turn right into the first turning = Alderton Crescent, by Tesco Express.
We are the first building on your right.
Parking:
You can park in available bays / on the yellow lines on our road or nearby anytime.
EXCEPTION: not between 11-12pm Mon-Fri. Please check parking signs.
Bus routes: 83, N5, N83, 113, 116, 324, N113, 143, 326, 643
Wear:
- training clothes (Tshirt, tracksuit / leggings / shorts)
- NO OUTDOOR SHOES on our matted floor, train in socks or barefoot (or bring indoor only trainers/boxing boots)
Equipment:
- newcomers can borrow boxing gloves where needed (or bring if you have your own) - if you continue training you can purchase our own ProGuard Armour equipment from our onsite shop
Facilities:
- toilets, changing rooms, showers (including disabled toilet)
- ladies vanity unit with hairdryer
- cubby holes to place personal belongings next to you in the training hall
- water fountain
- air conditioning
- fully matted training hall with mirrors
- fully equipped with punch bags, pads / shields, training (pretend) weapons, body armour, head guards, dumbbells, kettlebells, skipping ropes, yoga blocks, resistance bands, pull up bars, battle ropes, boxing gloves
- onsite shop supplying all training equipment and uniforms

Satellite location:
Our classes are held in a community hall: go into the front Reception door, go past the Reception desk then the hall is on your left.
Directions from the car park: walk around the front of the building until you get to the Reception door.
Free parking: in small car park next to the building (on the left just after you drive past the building) or nearby streets (not in any residents’ bays)

Wear:

- TRAINERS - the community hall has a hard laminate floor
Equipment:
- newcomers can borrow boxing gloves where needed (or bring if you have your own) - if you continue training you can purchase our own ProGuard Armour equipment from our shop
